Evolving every day

As a home to many nationalities from all over the world, UAE is developing as a multiethnic country led by huge passion. There are still things to be learned and implemented but in comparison to other places, Dubai is drawing people to itself by offering good quality of life with high salaries, an easy bureaucracy system, high-quality infrastructure and accommodation, amazing medical facilities (that are super expensive as well) and international schools where your children can get the best and modern education (also very expensive). So like I said there are things that will for sure get better and life get more affordable since the salaries are also on the rise. UAE doesn’t get much affected by the things going on around the world, so it is a very stable, peaceful country. Generally, it is a good and easy life in Dubai and you can save a lot if you want to.

I’ve always been a person drawn to nature and all the green landscapes so for me parks in Dubai play a big role. It is a universal getaway place and luckily, there are many parks around Dubai where you can jog, do yoga, run, cycle. You can rent a bike at many places and have a good sporty day out. The best time for being active outside in Dubai is anytime from November to March. And the best time to enjoy the sea on many of the beaches this city is offering is any time from March to the beginning of May and from the end of September to the end of November.

The good thing about living in a multicultural city is all the fantastic dishes you can taste! Arabic food, Indian, Balkan, Japanese…all in one place- Dubai. I’m a huge fan of seafood, fish, and just anything that is coming from the sea, so Deira is offering so many fish restaurants. I’ve learned to cook healthy seafood soup (became obsessed with it). Being a real crazy foodie, eating ćevapi, then sea bream, tabbouleh, sushi, chicken skewers, papaya, and mango throughout the year makes food a real natural dopamine.

Many people still think that Dubai is expensive. But as you could have seen, the end of 2022 brought Europe huge inflation. Prices of pretty everything skyrocketed. Devastating circumstances brought a year of struggle, especially for Eastern and Southeastern Europe. That’s why we have many expats from these places coming to find a better life in UAE. Now, what happened is that elementary food is cheaper in Dubai than in let’s say Belgrade. The same goes for apartment sale prices. Even the apartments cost the same. Today in Belgrade, you need to pray for a huge amount of money for 1 bedroom apartment to fall off the sky, and in Dubai, you need to save for approximately 5 years to buy one that costs the same as in the capital of Serbia. For the same amount of money you can buy an apartment in Dubai (that is even bigger and newer).

So, Dubai became like a huge getaway from all the occurring problems our old continent is facing right now. Many will stay and many are waiting. For now, I believe everyone is much more relaxed here in the Evolving city. And we should all be grateful for that.
