Are you dying your hair? Well, maybe it’s time to stop it if you want to bring back life to your beloved hair.

Ammonia and hydrogen peroxide are not your friends for sure. Hair color breaks down protein in your hair, makes it brittle, weak, and can cause a massive hair fall after a long term of dying it. Since hydrogen peroxide lightens our natural hair color, it is a main ingredient in blond hair dye. That’s why blondies are at greater risk of having damaged, brittle hair follicles and hair fall.

HOW TO GROW YOUR HAIR STRONGER

Just like the skin, the hair also needs a moisturizer. African raw Shea butter is a thick butter, very nutritious, and moisturizing for both the hair and scalp. It works well for all hair types but especially for curly hair that can be drier than a straight type. Shea butter locks the moisture and softens the hair locks.

You can also make a natural hair mask out of eggs, extra virgin olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, aloe vera juice/gel, and thistle oil. You can mix it well all together and pour it into a plastic bottle so it can be easier for you to spread it evenly on your hair and scalp. You can also use garlic oil separately since it has well-known hair-strengthening properties promoting blood flow to the capillaries, defying hair fall and encouraging new hair to grow. You can apply garlic oil separately twice a month, depending on how much your hair is damaged. I personally use shampoos and regenerators containing garlic and onion oils from Mamaearth brand. But non of it works as well as natural hair masks you can make at home. Keep on the mask you made for at least 2 hours. Make sure not to put a lemon (it will dry your hair and make it shineless).

If you are a busy person and really have no time to make a mask at home, then simply use coconut butter/oil while preparing for the nighttime. After 1 hour you can take a shower. Coconut oil you will use can be the one for cooking, it will still do the work.

Remember that being consistent will bring you the best results. Make your diy mask at least 2 times per month.
